April 4, 2008 - SnapiMap™ debuts!
SnapiMap™ is an aide for finging genes and phenotypes in
bounded genomic segments with NCBI's MapViewer; useful for array CGH
interpretation. SnapiMap™ is free
to use, but requires KnutShell registration and login.

May 14, 2007 - Smith's "Paper-links"™ now
reference the 6th Edition of Smith's Recognizable Patterns of Human
Malformation.

May 14, 2007 - Phrase searching has been
further simplified: any multi-word search term is treated as
a phrase;
-- You can now separate two phrases with Boolean tie words without any
special formatting (e.g., short
stature OR growth failure) and they will still be
treated as phrases.
-- You can also stem (truncate) the last word in a phrase without adding
any special formatting (e.g., aggressive
behavior* ) and it will still be
treated as a phrase.
-- You can combine these two approaches to refine your search
(e.g., developmental delay* OR mental
retardation ).

When entering search terms, you
can now restrict to Clinical synopsis, Main text, Title(s), MIM no., Gene
name, Cyto. location (exact), or Reference author/title portions of the OMIM
record.
